A travel guide built on real experience
Galerie Photographique is a travel guide and photography project covering 18 countries across Asia, Europe, Oceania and Latin America. Every image on this site was taken by me — no stock photography, no content farms, no generic recommendations copied from other sites.
Each country guide is built from time actually spent there: the places I found by staying longer than a weekend, the experiences that didn't make it into the top-ten lists, and the photographs that took years of travel to capture.
Alongside the travel guides, the site includes an Eco Travel section — practical resources on responsible tourism, carbon-conscious travel, eco-certified experiences and community-based tourism. Because knowing where to go is only part of the question.
The interactive quizzes were built to make planning easier — and more honest. Not "where do tourists go?" but "where will you actually enjoy going?"

These are not summaries of other people's research. Every destination below has its own dedicated guide — built from time spent there, photographs taken there, and knowledge that only comes from going.
Slow travel, original content
The travel content industry runs largely on aggregation — rewritten summaries of other guides, stock photos from destinations the author has never visited, and SEO-driven lists that tell you nothing real. This site is built on the opposite principle.
Every photograph was taken by me. Every guide is based on time I actually spent in that country. The recommendations are things I found — not press releases I rewrote. The eco section exists because I believe that the way we travel matters, not just where we go.
The result is slower to build than a content farm. It's also more useful — because when someone reads a guide on this site, they're getting the experience of someone who was actually there.
